- You may submit multiple unique entries for different eligible teachers; self-nominations are allowed if all requirements are met.
Who can enter
- Nominators must be legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia and be at least 18
- The nominee must be a full-time K–12 educator at an accredited public or private school in the 50 states or D.C. and meet the age and consent requirements
- The nominator must follow @jcpenney on the platform used and keep the social account public through the end of the promotion
- The nomination video must be original, 30–90 seconds, tag @jcpenney and include #JCPYesTrip
What you can win
Prizes: five nominated teachers receive a three-day, two-night group retreat in the Park City, Utah area, expected around October 9–11, 2026. Each prize includes airfare, luxury-resort accommodation, ground transportation, group meals, planned activities and gifts, with an approximate value of $4,000.
How winners are chosen: a JCPenney judging panel evaluates eligible entries on the strength of the story, creativity and originality, overall engagement, and relevance to the Yes Trip theme. This is not a random drawing.
- Five nominated teachers will be selected; the person submitting the nomination does not receive the prize unless they are also the eligible nominee.
- The retreat is scheduled for approximately October 9–11, 2026 in the Park City, Utah area.
