On their birthday, Green members are entitled to one complimentary handcrafted beverage, food item or ready-to-drink bottled beverage. Gold members get 7 days to use it and Reserve members 30 days.

Regular ordersNeeds a purchase
1 Star per $1 spent (1.5 at Gold)
Members earn Stars on eligible purchases and can redeem them for free food and drinks. Green members earn 1 Star per $1 and Gold members 1.5 Stars per $1.

Conditions
Your level depends on the Stars you earn: Gold needs at least 500 Stars in 12 months.
Green level Stars expire six months after the month they were earned unless the account stays active.
How to join
Join Starbucks Rewards on the Starbucks Canada website or app. Opening an account enrolls you at the Green level.
Save your birthday in your account information at least 7 days before your birthday.
Make a Star-earning purchase before your birthday each year, then show the member barcode in the app to use the birthday reward.
Good to know
The terms name three levels, Green, Gold and Reserve, and your level depends on the Stars you earn over 12 months.
The birthday reward is valid only on the birthday for Green members.
The Rewards page announces a new version of the program, so check the app for the current benefits.
