Residents of Canada who are of legal drinking age in their province of residence
Requirements
Be a resident of Canada and of legal drinking age in your province or territory when you enter.
Buy a case of specially marked Sleeman Clear 2.0 or Sleeman Original (marked cases are sold in Canada while supplies last; the rules state no minimum amount) and find the unique PIN code that comes with it.
Complete the entry form on the contest website between 12:01 a.m. ET on September 13, 2026 and 11:59 p.m. ET on January 13, 2027, entering the PIN code and the correct answer to the math skill-testing question.
Without a purchase: mail a handwritten, original letter of at least 100 words explaining why you would like to win, with your name, age, address, email and phone number, to Sleeman Win a Hockey Canada Jersey, Sleeman Breweries, 551 Clair Road West, Guelph ON N1L 1E9. A PIN code is sent to you once the letter is validated, and you then complete the same web form. Letters can be mailed until 10 days before the contest closes.
The contest site asks for your province and date of birth before it shows its pages, and you must confirm you are of legal drinking age.
Employees, agents and representatives of Sleeman and its affiliates, agencies and prize supplier, their immediate family, and provincial liquor licensees and their employees cannot enter.
Canadian contests work under rules that differ from US sweepstakes. A prize contest that awards a prize by chance normally has to include a skill-testing question, which is a simple arithmetic problem the selected entrant answers correctly before receiving the prize. If a contest page mentions it, that is a sign the rules follow local practice.
Quebec is a special case. Contests open to Quebec residents need to follow the province’s own requirements, including French-language materials and, for larger prizes, registration with the provincial regulator. That is why many national campaigns exclude Quebec, and why you may see a separate set of rules for it.
Several promotions that you find on US sites are not open to Canadians, while other campaigns are Canada-only and run by grocery chains, banks and telecom companies. Prizes are generally stated in Canadian dollars, so check the currency before comparing amounts. Winners usually answer an affidavit and the sponsor may ask for proof of residency.

How to review a Canadian giveaway
Start with province and territory coverage. A national-looking campaign can still contain exclusions, so check the sponsor’s exact eligibility wording.
Then look at the winner process. Some Canadian promotions require a skill-testing question, declaration or other verification before a prize is awarded.
If the prize involves shipping, travel or a local event, confirm the fulfillment area and dates. Use the official rules for the final check before you submit an entry.
