A prize cannot be assigned or transferred. The sponsor may replace a prize with one of comparable or greater value at its discretion.

How to enter

  2. Answer the battery recycling questions. Wrong answers still count, but the quiz has to be completed.

No purchase is necessary. To enter without internet access, mail a handwritten 3 x 5 inch piece of paper with your first and last name, full address, date of birth, phone number and email address to Circular Economy Contest, 28 Madison Ave. Suite 1, Toronto, ON M5R 2S1. Mechanical reproductions are not accepted.

The rules allow one entry per person, whichever method is used.

Who can enter

The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory on or before the closing date. Officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees of Call2Recycle Canada, Inc. and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies cannot enter.

How the winners are chosen

A random draw takes place from all entries received during the contest period on November 10, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. EST in Toronto. The odds depend on the number of eligible entries.

Call2Recycle tries to reach selected entrants by email. To be confirmed, a selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without help. If the requirements are not met, the entrant is disqualified and the prize goes to an alternate entrant.

Delivery and deadlines

A selected entrant has 7 days from the first email notice to provide proof of identity and eligibility, answer the skill-testing question and return the declaration. The prize cheque is delivered within 30 days of the sponsor receiving and verifying the completed forms and any other legal documents it requires.

By accepting a prize, winners allow the sponsor to use their name, city, photograph and prize information for promotional purposes, except where the law prohibits it.
