Rule to publish before the draw
Estimates only, not advice. Everything is calculated in your browser: we do not send or store what you type. Raffles and draws with ticket sales are regulated and may require authorization depending on your country and purpose. Check the rules before selling tickets.
Why use a public draw
If the organizer picks the number, doubt always remains. Using the winning number of an official draw (for example, the national lottery) makes it impartial and verifiable: nobody can know or influence it beforehand. The rule must be published before the date, with the exact formula.
The formula
The winning ticket is the remainder of dividing the winning number by the number of tickets, plus the first number. Runners-up are the next tickets in order. It is a simple rule anyone can repeat with a calculator. For more context read how winners are selected.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print the tickets?
Press “Print tickets”. An A4 sheet with dotted cut lines is prepared; choose “Save as PDF” or your printer. Set margins to “Default”.
What is the control sheet?
A .csv with every number and empty columns to note buyer, phone and whether they paid. Open it with Excel or Google Sheets.
Is it legal to run a raffle?
It depends on the country, on the prize and on whether the money is for a cause. Many paid raffles require authorization. Ask the gaming authority or a professional.
